About B.R.A.S.S

Bellevue Recovery And Support Services was created as a local resource for residents of the greater Bellevue area seeking information and resources about substance use treatment and recovery services. The services provided by B.R.A.S.S. are free and the organization is operated primarily by a Director of Operations, the Board of Directors and our many volunteers.

B.R.A.S.S. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a board of directors and is funded through grants and donations. Funding for B.R.A.S.S. is paid in part by funds from the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties.

B.R.A.S.S. Mission and Logo

Mission: Extending hope and help to those in our community struggling with substance use.

The B.R.A.S.S. logo was designed by a Bellevue community member who participated in a logo design contest in the Fall of 2018. The logo is symbolic and contains images and colors that represent the journey toward recovery.

  • Dove: A dove sighting indicates the beginning or ending of a life-changing event. Doves are commonly associated with purity, love and peace.
  • Broken Chains: The broken chains symbolize freedom, liberation, expression and individualism.
  • Blue Ribbon: The color blue in the ribbon slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. It is considered beneficial to the mind, body and soul.
